About
Hey there! I am Gea Court, the artist behind Courting the Wild.
I've been making handmade works of art since 2011 in the small farm town of Sequim, WA, nestled on the edge of the Olympic mountain foothills. Inspired by the rich biodiversity of the Pacific Northwest, my work continues to grow and evolve, rooted in a deep love for the natural world and a desire to create from the soul.

Over the years, our family has shifted and blossomed. After six years of homeschooling, our son has recently graduated, giving me space to deepen my passions and pursuits. I now work part time at a local flower shop and am spending more time tending to my garden - growing both cut flowers and medicinal herbs. Muc of my creative energy is focused on learning about native flora, especially their historical uses, toxicity, and herbal medicinal properties.
Through my art, I aim to share the wonder of the natural world and help others reconnect with its magic. Whether it's through linocuts, botanical illustrations, or jewelry making, everything I create is a tribute to the beauty and resilience of the wild.
I hope you'll join me on this ever-evolving journey. You can also follow along on Instagram @courtingthewild where the most current and up to date happenings can be found.
